The Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie, situated in the heart of Milan, is an outstanding work of architecture, and an emblem within the Catholic tradition. Santa Maria delle Grazie is perhaps even more famous for its indissoluble connection to Leonardo Da Vinci’s fresco of “The Last Supper,” preserved inside its refectory (dining hall).

The Church is one of Renaissance art’s most important testimonies and a shining symbol of creative human genius – thus it became a UNESCO World Heritage List in 1980.
Discover the interesting Scala. This world-renowned opera house was built in 1778, where many composers wrote and conducted works including such greats as Rossini, Puccini, Verdi and Toscanini.
Designed by Giuseppe Mengoni in 1865, and named after the first king of Italy, Vittorio Emanuele II, an arching cast-iron dome of vaulted glass arcades covers the street connecting Piazza del Duomo to Piazza della Scala. The Galleria is a popular meeting place, home to some of the oldest shops in Milan.
Visit the Duomo, a vision in pink Candoglia marble, Milan’s extravagant Gothic cathedral, 600 years in the making, aptly reflects the city’s creativity and ambition.
There is also the opportunity to hire a car and driver and visit the fabulous Sforza Castle. During the Renaissance period and it was built as a defensive castle.
Throughout its history, the castle was destroyed and built up again modified. The castle houses the Museums of the Castello with last masterpiece of Michelangelo, the unfinished Pietà Rondanini and the frescoes by Leonardo da Vinci and Bramante. Particularly impressive is the tower with the entrance Torre del Filarete, named after the Florentine architect and sculptor Antonio Averlino (called Filarete).
